To kick off the Spring Retreat, Venerable Geshe-la will review the Seven Limb Practice (Sadhna), including walking us Ghali-ghali, Tibetan for “slow by slow,” on how we can practice them all most effectively in our daily lives.

About the Spring Buddhist Retreat: Seven Limb Practice

The Seven-Limb Practice (Prostration, Offering, Confession, Rejoicing, Requesting to Remain, Requesting to Turn the Wheel of Dharma, and Dedication) is found in and is the basis of many practice texts, including Samantabhadra‘s King of Prayers.

Our Quarterly Retreats are for sincere and advanced Dharma practitioners who seek deeper practices in their path. These retreats are additional for those ready for more advanced meditation and practices, such as the Vajrayana paths. Hence for the best benefit of joining these retreats, we recommend candidates who already have a solid grounding on the Buddhist path.
