Considering the National Emergency declaration due to COVID-19, the Buddhist Institute in Spokane, WA will join in effort to prevent the spread of this epidemic. We will suspend all our services at the Institute from March 15 through April 19th.  However, we will continue our Friday & Saturday evening and Sunday morning sessions via Zoom (link down below).
Geshe-la will continue his teaching on Shantideva’s Guide to a Bodhisattva’s Way of Life during the Friday, Saturday and Sunday sessions.

Learn Buddhist Meditation, Philosophy and chat with Ven. Prof. Geshela Phelgye

Everyone interested are welcome to join us Saturday Evening at the Buddhist Institute as we study universal compassion, Buddhist philosophy and practice Meditation as well as pray for happiness for oneself and world peace.

We are currently studying Great Bodhi Sattva Shantideva’s “A Guide to a Bodhisattva’s Way of Life,” which you can pick up a copy of here on Amazon. You are encouraged to ask questions if you will.

Teachings are presided by the most authentic mentor Ven. Prof. Geshe-la Phelgye, a Tibetan Buddhist monk since 1973. Take the privilege of this rare opportunity.

All services are offered free of charge; however, your generous offerings are much needed for the maintenance of the facility, they are truly appreciated.
